Angelina began her career in the hair industry in 2002 and has since developed a passion for continuous learning. She has attended numerous advanced education seminars led by industry leaders such as Schwarzkopf, Redken, L’Anza, Kevin Murphy, Goldwell, Joico, L’Oréal Professional, and completed an intensive week-long training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto, Ontario, as well as a three-day seminar with La Biosthetique Academy in Vancouver, British Columbia.
In 2022, Angelina became certified as a HairTalk Master in Hair Toppers, specializing in solutions for those struggling with alopecia. She is currently training to create custom lace front wigs and hopes to soon provide options specifically for children.
As a competitive stylist, Angelina has achieved recognition as a semi-finalist for the Canadian Hairstylist of the Year awards in both 2005 and 2008. In 2020, 2022 and 2023, she was nominated for the Winnipeg Nightlife Awards Hairstylist of the Year. Her talent has been showcased in films such as “The Class Project” featuring Abigail Breslin and Hermione Granger, and “While I Was Gone” with Kirstie Alley, among others.
An artist, crafter, and musician, Angelina draws inspiration from the diverse textures and mediums in the arts around her. She loves exploring color palettes that range from smooth gradients to bold, bright hues, translating these palettes into beautiful hair.
While she enjoys every aspect of hairstyling, Angelina has a particular passion for highlighting, color corrections, working with curly hair, and wedding styling. Her specialty lies in curly hair cutting.
When she’s not behind the chair, Angelina loves to draw children's book illustrations, and has a passion for narrative artwork as well as character design.
